One of the best love stories that I've ever read. I was in tears at the end of the book! It was an easy read for me - I read it in one day...but that's also because I just couldn't put it down. By the second chapter I was emotionally involved in the book and with the characters. The writing just sucks you in! I believe there's a person for everyone and this book just shows that no matter what you do, no matter where you go, you just can't escape fate.

I stumbled across this book on Goodreads. I couldn't believe it was only $ .99! Worth a lot more in my opinion! This book was like Sweet Home Alabama & The Notebook all rolled into one beautiful love story! I cried my eyes out at the end. One of my new favorites! A must read!

I had purchased this book because of the price and the reviews, and this book did not disappoint. I absolutely loved this book! I enjoyed is so much that I finished it in a day. This book was beautifully written. I fell in love with the story line and the main characters Julia and Will. This is a love story that everyone grows up wishing they can have. It is also thought provoking, I found myself looking back on my past relationships and the decisions that I have made. This is a must read for all ages both young and old. I highly recommend this book. This book stays with you long after you are done reading it, it's that good.

Honestly, I purchased this book because of its price. I braced myself to be easily bored by it and not finish it. Oh boy, what a surprise! I love it. This reminds me of Nicholas Sparks' "The Notebook". Although the stories are different but the theme is similar. Not complaining though. I always welcome to feel the rush of conflicting emotions that a great story could bring you. Needless to say, it is a page-turner for me and it successfully defied my ADD side:) Thank you Laura Miller for writing this wonderful and touching book.

Where to start? First this is not a serious read, it is an escape reality and dare to believe that love can be ever lasting. The words in this book will touch you. The author is really talented in her story telling. The characters will make you angry, but you are fighting for them the whole time while they are figuring there life out. Initially I bought this book because I read a really heavy book, and needed a light read. However, this book has filled me with more emotions than the other book did. This book reminded me of the movie the "Notbook" the way the author is able to tell this story will leave you in tears if you're a hopeless romantic. I am going to go back and re-read this book because undoubtly I have missed something on my first go through.
Story overview: Julia and Will meet in high school. He is a home town guy at heart and she has dreams to spread her wings. She travels across the country. Eventually they can't withstand the distances. She moves on and he does too. Can they reconnect? Can true love conquer all?
Read this book, it is great ,and for the price you can't beat it. Take a risk and embark on this love story that will warm your heart, wet your cheeks (tears), and leave you smiling!

This book was a great escape from the hum drum of every day. It's one of those stories that really sticks with you. It took me back to a time of true love and romance. I felt like I really knew and cared about the characters, I saw myself in Julia. I had to intentionally slow my reading because I didn't want the story to end! What a fantastic love story!

There are those books that you read, and then you move on to another, then that one consumes you completely. Well Butterfly Weeds is not one of those books. I carry it with me, in my heart everywhere I go. No matter what books I've read since that one, I can not get it out of my mind. The characters and the little town it is set in, felt like home to me, and still do. Thank you for the escape and memories.

I was hooked from the beginning! I fell in love with New Milford and its characters. I felt like Julia reacted how I would react in the situations she found herself in. I didn't see the twist coming, and I couldn't wait to see how it ended. I've now added Butterfly Weeds as one of my all-time favorite love stories!
